Information we process
TEEKAFIT processes information you provide, activity records you create in the app, supported information provided by your device, and values calculated or estimated from that information. This policy describes the categories of data the current version of the app actually processes.
Account and sign‑in information
You can sign in to TEEKAFIT with an email address and password, Google, or Apple through Supabase authentication. Google and Apple handle their sign‑in processes under their own terms. Supabase handles email-and-password authentication and password recovery. TEEKAFIT does not store your password as readable text.
Your account is associated with a unique Supabase user identifier (UUID) and, where supplied, your name and email address.
Profile information
TEEKAFIT can process date of birth, gender, height, preferred language, measurement system, and daily goals you set in the app. Date of birth is captured once during account setup and is used to calculate your age within the app; it is not editable afterward through the app.
Workout, water, steps, and weight data
Depending on how you use the app, TEEKAFIT can process:
- Saved workout plans, exercises, default sets, notes, and rest settings
- Active and completed workout sessions, including sets, repetitions, weights, completion state, timestamps, and duration
- Historical workout snapshots used for comparisons over time
- Water goals and individual water entries by date
- Device‑provided step counts by date
- Weight measurements and history
Calculated and estimated information
TEEKAFIT calculates or derives values such as age from date of birth, workout volume and comparisons, water and step progress, streaks, and estimated distance or calories. These values depend on the information you or your device provide, the formulas used, missing data, and synchronization timing. They are estimates, not medical or clinical measurements, and are not guaranteed to be fully accurate.
Device and app information
TEEKAFIT uses information needed to operate its features, such as your platform, app version and build, permission status, and notification settings. Where step tracking is used, the app requests motion/fitness permission from your device. TEEKAFIT does not implement general whole-app behavioral analytics or crash-reporting collection. Subscription-specific interaction events processed by RevenueCat are described below.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate you, provide local‑first fitness tracking, restore and synchronize supported data across sign‑ins, show progress and comparisons, maintain your preferences, schedule local reminders you enable, and protect the integrity of your account data.
Local storage and cloud synchronization
TEEKAFIT saves app data locally on your device first, so supported features can work offline. Your authentication session is stored using secure on‑device storage. After you sign in, supported profile, workout, water, step, weight, and preference data synchronizes with our cloud backend (Supabase). Changes made while offline can be retried automatically once connectivity returns.
Subscriptions and purchase information
TEEKAFIT uses RevenueCat to manage access to TEEKAFIT Premium. When you are signed in, TEEKAFIT uses your Supabase UUID as the RevenueCat App User ID so that your subscription status can be associated with the correct TEEKAFIT account.
RevenueCat manages subscription status and coordinates purchases using the purchase and subscription information made available by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchase. This includes the purchased product, purchase and transaction information, trial or subscription status, renewal or expiration status, and the resulting Premium entitlement needed to provide and restore Premium access. TEEKAFIT does not send your workout, water, step, or weight data to RevenueCat. TEEKAFIT and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment-card details from either store.
RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription history both to provide and restore subscription functionality and for subscription-related analytics, not general whole-app behavioral analytics.
RevenueCat may use or create a pseudonymous customer identity, including where applicable after local logout or identity detachment. This is a customer identity, not an Advertising ID, Android device ID, or cross-app advertising identifier.
RevenueCat may infer your country from connection/IP information associated with requests. This country information is used for subscription-related analytics, not advertising or marketing. TEEKAFIT does not request Android location permission or collect GPS or precise location.
RevenueCat also processes interaction events specifically associated with the subscription/paywall experience, such as paywall presentation and dismissal, purchase initiation, cancellation, and purchase errors where applicable. These events can include your RevenueCat App User ID, paywall and offering identifiers, product and package identifiers where applicable, event timestamps and session identifiers, language, theme, and display mode. SDK requests also include technical app and device information, such as the app identifier and version, SDK and operating-system versions, and device model and brand. This information is used to operate subscriptions and understand and improve the subscription experience, not to track all activity throughout TEEKAFIT or for advertising.
Service providers
TEEKAFIT uses Supabase for email-address-and-password authentication, password recovery, authentication through Google and Apple, and the supported cloud storage and sync described above. Authentication emails, including account-confirmation and password-recovery messages, are delivered through Resend as the configured email delivery provider. Resend processes the recipient email address, message content, and delivery metadata needed to deliver those messages. TEEKAFIT also uses RevenueCat for subscription status and purchase coordination, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for subscription purchases, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund or payment mechanics under the terms of the store where you purchase. Your device's operating system also handles permissions, local notifications, motion/step sensor access, and opening your chosen email app. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Feedback and support
When you send feedback or contact support from the app, TEEKAFIT opens a draft email addressed to our support address in your device's email app. The app does not send this message itself or mark it as sent — the draft stays under your control until you choose to send it, after which your email provider processes it.
Security
TEEKAFIT uses authentication, account‑ownership rules, secure session storage, and other reasonable safeguards to help protect your information. No device, storage system, or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You can edit supported profile fields and tracker goals in the app, control device permissions and notifications in system settings, and request deletion of your account from Settings. You may also contact Support to ask about, correct, or request a copy or deletion of information associated with your account. Additional rights may apply under the law where you live.
Account deletion
You can request permanent deletion of your account from Settings in the app. After your identity is verified, TEEKAFIT deletes your account and the applicable TEEKAFIT cloud data associated with it. The app clears that account's local data and session only after deletion is confirmed. If confirmation is interrupted, the app preserves your data until it can safely verify the result. See the Delete Account page for details on how this works and what is deleted. Deleting your TEEKAFIT account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription or Google Play subscription; manage or cancel it separately through the store where you purchased it. Cancelling first is not required to delete your TEEKAFIT account.
Data retention
Local data can remain on your device for as long as your account exists on that device. After account deletion is confirmed, TEEKAFIT removes the app‑managed local records and the active synchronized records associated with that account. The app detaches its local RevenueCat identity, but the current deletion flow does not request deletion of the RevenueCat server-side customer record. Purchase and transaction records, service-provider backups, logs, and legally required retention may remain under the relevant provider policies and requirements. TEEKAFIT does not promise immediate deletion of every provider record or a retention period that has not been verified.
Children and age requirements
TEEKAFIT is not designed for children. If the law where you live requires permission from a parent or guardian for you to use the app or provide personal information, do not create an account unless that permission has been provided. A parent or guardian may contact Support to request deletion of an account or associated information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as TEEKAFIT changes. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Material production changes should be communicated through an appropriate notice.
